How to submit a takedown notice

Send your notice to the email address above. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work. Describe the work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list.
  2. Identification of the infringing material. Provide the URL(s) or other specific location of the content on Promptvexity that you claim infringes your work.
  3. Your contact information. Full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good-faith belief statement. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Signature. Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that are missing required elements may not be acted upon. We will process complete, valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to the identified content.

Counter-notices

If you believe content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent. A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or Harris County, Texas, if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

After we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us they have filed a court action to restrain you.

Repeat infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

False claims

Submitting a fraudulent or knowingly false DMCA notice may expose you to civil liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including damages and attorney's fees.
